A Simple Circular Form for Secure Bicycle Parking
Anello is a minimalist commercial bike rack designed by Roberto Semprini.
Its clean circular profile creates a recognizable but visually restrained bicycle-parking element that can integrate into contemporary or traditional architectural settings. The open ring provides convenient contact and locking points for the bicycle frame and wheel.
Anello can be installed individually or repeated in a coordinated row to create bicycle-parking areas of different capacities.
Construction and Installation
Anello is manufactured from calendered tubular steel with an approximately 50 mm diameter and 2 mm wall thickness.
Published installation configurations include:
- Embedded version with a 300 mm underground extension
- Surface-mounted version with a base plate, subject to configuration confirmation
The final spacing between units should allow easy bicycle access, secure locking, and comfortable pedestrian circulation.
