A Clear and Versatile Seating Design
Eight is a contemporary commercial bench designed by Studiorange.
Its simple composition combines a slender steel structure with six substantial wood slats that form the seat and, in the backrest version, the supporting back surface.
The clean geometry makes Eight easy to specify across a broad range of public and commercial outdoor environments.
Materials and Construction
The supporting structure is manufactured from steel and is designed for permanent exterior use.
Published configurations include Iroko or Okoumé wood treated with water-repellent, UV-resistant oils. Wood availability for U.S. projects should be confirmed during quotation.
The steel structure may be supplied with an electrolytic galvanizing treatment followed by polyester powder coating in a selected RAL color.
A Corten steel version may also be available upon request.
Optional Armrests
Eight can be equipped with two substantial steel armrests secured to the seating structure.
Armrests can:
- Provide additional support
- Help define individual seating positions
- Assist users when sitting down or standing up
- Respond to project-specific operational requirements
The final placement and configuration should be confirmed through the approved product drawing.

The steel legs include fixing holes for anchoring the bench to an appropriate substrate. Anchoring hardware should be selected according to the pavement or foundation design.

Provide LAB23 Eight commercial bench designed by Studiorange, consisting of a powder-coated steel supporting structure and six wood slats forming the seating surface and specified backrest. Provide optional steel armrests where indicated. Steel finish, wood species, dimensions, and anchoring shall comply with approved samples and shop drawings.

BENCH
The bench EIGHT is made in steel sheet (80/10 thickness), which is later galvanized and polyester powder-coated. The seat is made with 4 slats mm 100x40x1600 in exotic wood. On the base of the legs there are 4 holes (12 mm diam.) for the fixing to the ground through specific bolts (not provided). Optional: the bench EIGHT can come with armrests in steel (80/10 thickness), fixed to the seat through specific screws.

BENCH WITH BACKREST
The bench EIGHT with backrest is made in steel sheet (80/10 thickness). The seat and the backrest are made with 6 slats mm 100x40x1600 in exotic wood. On the base of the legs there are 4 holes (12 mm diam.) for the fixing to the ground through specific bolts (not provided). Optional: the bench EIGHT can come with armrests in steel (80/10 thickness), fixed to the seat through specific screws.
Optional:“EIGHT” can be equipped with two sturdy armrests in thick 80/10 galvanised and polyester powder coated steel anchored to the seat with screws. Weight without armrests: 31 kg (steel only)

This product is entirely made in Italy from steel subjected to an electrolytic galvanising cycle and subsequently painted with PP powders with Ral colour of your choice.
As an alternative to steel EN10111DD11, the production in corten is also available, on demand. In this case the material is treated with a specific oxidation process.
The wood used is either Iroko or Okume, treated with natural, water-repellent, UV ray resistant oils.
